MEDICAL BIOCHEMISTRY - About the Department
The seeds of the UG Department of Medical Biochemistry is sown in the current academic year 2021 – 2022 onwards at Vivekanandha Arts and Science College for Women, Veerachipalayam, Sankari, Salem District with a view of providing scientific education, biomedical research perspective, clinical laboratory skills, basic analytical techniques, quality assurance methodology in various life science sectors to the students of rural areas.

TMedical biochemistry is a field that studies different types of molecules in hopes of bettering technology and medicine. In order to work in the medical biochemistry environment, students typically need to get an advanced degree, such as a masters. A lot of efforts have been taken by the management of Vivekanandha Educational Institutions thereby accelerating a greater emphasis on research, so that the students have good reasoning and analytical skills.
We further ensure that the students on completion of the UG / PG course get placed successfully in various clinical / R & D / analytical sectors of medical world and prove their efficiency and ability thereby bringing the name and fame of our Institution to a higher level.
